Foz, As you said....some aren't obvious and those that would want to remain anonymous just wouldn't take the poll.

Well, I can tell you about how much I eat out of what my garden produces....ALL of it!

(well, maybe I might give away a tomato or two...)

This is first and foremost a garden forum - gender is a non-issue. Polls should remain garden specific.

Default Poll Idea . . . . ?

How 'bout . . . . if you garden to music, what type of music would you be listening to ?

Country , classic rock, alternative, classical, rap, hard metal, other, other than other, ?

Default Poll Idea.

OK, how 'bout this one :

How important is whimsical in your garden ? And, what do you use to achieve a whimsical effect ?

or . . . . .

Is whimsical important in your garden ?

Nice idea, Harv. It may be interesting to broaden that a bit and poll the members on what style of gardening they prefer....whimsical, cottage, formal, strictly edible crops, wildlife oriented, natives, theme, etc. I don't think we've done a poll on this before.

Thoughts anyone?

I like your idea, Foz. Why don't we hang it out there ?

(This might be a self-serving poll. )

Would you pay extra, say 25 or 50 cents for a plant in a eco-friendly pot?
or
Are you comfortable with recycling the plastic pot?

Reword as you see fit.....

Interesting question, Krnbrohl.

We're fine with recycling, but if the 'eco-friendly' container could stand alone and/or be dropped into a larger planter as shown in the PW e-magazine, that might prove to be worth checking out. The additional cost of the container might then be worth while.

Cripe, I forgot all about the polls! I never did start a poll about gardening styles/ esthetics. Let's do the gardening styles first, then run a poll using Krnbrohl's idea. How's that sound?
